Model 833 Surge Type Receiver Liquid Pressure Amplification

Model 833 Flow rate range 2 to 15 GPM Maximum head 35 feet. Applications include supermarket racks, cold storage or other systems with long liquid lines or high vertical lift from the receiver to the expansion valves. Mechanical sub coolers can be removed from the refrigeration system as the LPA® pump provides sufficient pressure sub cooled liquid to all expansion valves.

A cascade style condenser and liquid receiver application provides efficient operation for medium and low temperature refrigeration circuits for HFC or Co2 blends. Refrigerant delivered to both medium and low temperature evaporators use a combination of DX free cooling and vapor compression to maintain desired temperatures.

Many thousands of LPA® pumps have been installed in this configuration that guarantees a good supply of liquid to the thermostatic or electronic valves when the condensing pressures are allowed to be reduced to improve the efficiency of the plant.
