[Public Disclosure-23rd October 2016] HYSAVE introduces another Non Vapor Compression Technology that makes it a sin to operate compressors when outdoor conditions are cooler. DXFC provides an additional 120% of the original AC cooling duty and COP values in the region of 30 to 35 when outdoor temperatures are 70F (21C) or lower, in some geographical locations, this can be for the best part of the year. HY-SAVE is delighted with their findings and so has established many patent applications covering new methods of heat transfer and performance of their range of DXFC split air conditioning units that will be available within the next few months. Due to popular demand, lead times are currently 16 weeks.

Designed for DX economized free cooling, these next generation air conditioners boast 10 times more efficiency than standard units of similar size, and  that is because pumping liquid refrigerant to the cooling coils is up to 40 times more efficient than using the compressor  to do the same amount of work.

Performance cooling data is based on a 50F (10C) outdoor temperature, operating temperature range 50C to -30C.  Air temperature on/off evaporator 22/ 14C. TD between evaporating and  leaving air, 4K. Condenser TD 12K. Power consumption  0.6 kW, cooling capacity 20 kW, COP 30/35 depending on liquid temperatures.

    do you have other choices of refrigerant besides r-290?

    We used R-290 in this application as an alternative, our chosen fluid will be R1234 for future applications and sales.
