“Latent heat” source heat pump new to industry
Dated 20th September 23 – Two methods or types of heat-pumps known in industry today. Namely air or ground source heat pumps. A third new method has been introduced by HY-SAVE and provides Latent heat source heating which offeres many benefits and higher efficiency when compared with air or ground source heat pumps.
The latent heat pump does not need an outdoor unit for refrigerant phase change and thus not influenced by minus outdoor temperatures when in heating mode.
The latent heat source heat pump is continuous in operation, unlike air source heat pumps, defrosting is not required.
A similar system provides on demand defrosting of cold and frozen food evaporators.
