Liquid Pressure Amplification LPA® Refrigeration Energy Savings

Liquid Pressure Amplification, (LPA®) invented by HY-SAVE in 1984 is still the most efficient energy saving technology available for commercial refrigeration or air conditioning today. Refrigeration energy savings. The LPA® works by boosting liquid refrigerant through the refrigeration system. By increasing the liquid’s pressure, the associated saturation temperature is raised, while the liquid temperature remains the […]

Model 833 Surge Type Receiver Liquid Pressure Amplification

Model 833 Flow rate range 2 to 15 GPM Maximum head 35 feet. Applications include supermarket racks, cold storage or other systems with long liquid lines or high vertical lift from the receiver to the expansion valves. Mechanical sub coolers can be removed from the refrigeration system as the LPA® pump provides sufficient pressure sub cooled liquid to all expansion valves.

DX Cascade Medium Low Temperature Co2 Circuit

A NH3 cascade style first stage condenser and liquid receiver application provides efficient operation for medium and low temperature refrigeration circuits for HFC or Co2 blends. Refrigerant delivered to both medium and low temperature evaporators use a combination of DX Free Cooling and low stage vapor compression to maintain desired temperatures.

Water Cooled Condenser with LPA® Pump

Many thousands of LPA® pumps have been installed in this configuration that guarantees a good supply of liquid to the thermostatic or electronic valves when the condensing pressures are low to improve the efficiency of the refrigeration plant. Often during winter conditions, it is difficult to maintain a good supply of liquid to the expansion […]
