DXTS™ 24,000 Btu’s/hour Split A/C

DXTS™ – 2 Ton A/C split with DX Latent Thermal Storage;

AC on Demand:

A 24,000Btu’s/hr air conditioner split system with DXTS™ (nicknamed the Sunseeker) is currently being assembled at HY-SAVE’s newly opened R&D facility in Europe. Among other technologies R&D will be exhibiting full size working models of  typical 2 ton split wall mount and cassette AC units combined with DXTS as well. Designed to deliver the equivalent amount of cooling duty by day without compression or condensing power for 5 to 10 hours depending on storage capacity. Ideal for geographical areas where outdoor temperatures are too hot or costly to run A/C equipment.

    Dear HY-Save Team,

    i’m intersested in your 2 Ton A/C split system with DX Latent Thermal Storage.

    What kind of material is used in the theraml storage, and could make a quote of costs for this small system?
    I would need the system to be delivered to Canada/Montreal.

    Best regards,

    Hello

    We use a natural Beetroot extract to store the cooling. Other phase changing materials can be used such as paraffin wax, water etc.
    The storage has pillow shape plates, see https://www.omegathermoproducts.nl/nl/producten-en-heat-exchangers/producten/pillowplates/
    back to back, the first set of plates flows the primary refrigerant which changes state, the second plate back to back flows the secondary refrigerant which also changes state which provides the cooling to the DX evaporator.

    Thank you.
